Product Introduction The Martin Decker is the core component of the well logging depth measurement system. It is used to measure well depth, tripping speed, cable tension, and differential tension, and features alarm functions for monitoring down hole instruments encountering resistance, sticking, over-speed, reaching the bottom of the well, and exiting the wellhead. Logging data consists of two categories: logging information and depth information — the accuracy of depth information directly determines the quality of logging data.During operation, the measuring wheel drives the optical grating disc as the cable moves, converting the cable's linear motion into photoelectric pulse signals: pulses per unit time indicate logging speed, while cumulative pulse count records logging depth. The depth pulses, after correction, are counted as depth signals and transmitted together with speed data via time-division multiplexing technology, sampled point by point under software control. The depth interrupt signal also serves as the system control signal for data sampling, ensuring precise depth positioning at each sample point Technical Features
